Rice Krispie Rudolph’s 

Festive sausage rolls

You will need:

  • 10 spar pork sausages 
  • 1 roll of puff pastry 
  • Caramelised red onion
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper 
  • Egg

Method

  1. Remove sausages from skin and add to a bowl. Season with salt, pepper and parsley.
  2. Cut pastry in half. Add half your sausage meat to each strip of pastry.
  3. Top the sausage meat with the caramelised red onion and fold over the pastry.
  4. Egg wash the pastry and press down the edges with a fork to seal it.
  5. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
  6. Bake at 180 for 22 mins until golden brown and cooked through.

Cheesy garlic dough ball Christmas tree

You will need:

  • 150g self raising flour 
  • 150g plain yoghurt
  • Salt and pepper 
  • Parsley
  • 75g mozarella 
  • 2 mini tubs garlic butter 

 

Method:

  1. Mix your flour, yoghurt, salt and pepper and tablespoon parsley until it forms a dough.
  2. Roll into 16 balls.
  3. Take each ball and add 5g mozzarella into the middle then seal it up again so the cheese is in the middle.
  4. Lay out the garlic doughballs in a tree shape on baking paper.
  5. Bake in oven at 180 for 20 mins until golden brown.
Bacon, Brie and cranberry tear and share festive star

You will need:

  • Two sheets puff pastry 
  • Brie 
  • 5 slices of bacon cooked until crispy and cut into pieces 
  • Cranberry sauce 
  • Egg 
  • Salt and pepper 

Method:

  1. Use a large plate to cut a round piece of pastry. Set this on baking paper on your oven tray.
  2. Cut your Brie into slices and lay it on the pastry.
  3. Add cranberry on top of the Brie.
  4. Sprinkle on your cooked crispy bacon.
  5. Cut another round piece of pastry same size as the bottom piece, place this on top and press down.
  6. Use a small bowl and push into middle of the top of the pastry, lightly cut round with a knife. From the middle, circle cut strips in the pastry. Twist each strip and fold two strips into each other to form a star shape. Egg wash the star.
  7. Bake in oven at 180 for 25 mins until golden and crispy.

Festive butter board

You will need:

  • SPAR salted butter
  • Honey
  • Protein nut mix 
  • Cranberry 
  • Spring onions 
  • SPAR crackers 
  • Wheaten bread 

Method:

  1. Spread your butter onto a wooden board in shape of a tree.
  2. Top with honey, cranberry, nuts, spring onions and parsley.
  3. Serve with crackers and wheaten as a sharing board.
Rice Krispie Rudolph’s

You will need:

  • 100g rice krispies 
  • 3 Mars bars 
  • 100g butter 
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup 
  • Red skittles 
  • White choc buttons 
  • Milk chocolate (to melt)
  • Chocolate sticks 

Method:

  1. Chop your mars bars up and add to a pan with butter and golden syrup. Melt over a low heat. 
  2. When melted add in your rice crispies and combine well. Add mixture to a silicone muffin tray or muffin cases and allow to set in fridge for an hour.
  3. Use chocolate sticks as antlers and stick to base with melted chocolate.
  4. Use white choc buttons for eyes, red skittles for nose and melted chocolate to stick these on.
