3 ways to use your porridge oats

Apple & Cinnamon Overnight Oats

What you'll need:

  • 40g rolled porridge oats
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 medium Royal Gala apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 60ml almond milk (or any milk or your choice)
  • 1 1/2 tsp maple syrup
  • 60g plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds

Method:

  • Add the ingredients to a mason jar or other individual storage container in the order listed above: oats, cinnamon, chopped apples, almond milk, maple syrup, Greek yogurt, and flaxseed
  • Seal jar and refrigerate overnight (for up to 5 days)
  • When ready to eat, shake the jar to combine the ingredients or empty the contents into a serving bowl and stir to combine.
  • Add a little more Greek yogurt or almond milk if a thicker or thinner consistency is desired.
  • Add any desired toppings and enjoy!
