A quick tasty dessert
What you'll need:
- 1 pineapple
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 60g sugar
Method:
- Core and peel pineapple then slice it lengthwise into strips.
- Heat butter in a large non-stick saucepan over high heat.
- Coat the pineapple strips with sugar and place in the hot pan.
- Cook the pineapple for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until golden brown.
- Remove the pineapple and stir 3 tablespoons water into pan, and heat briefly.
- Drizzle the syrup over the pineapple.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
