Enjoy our Chocolate-Coated Strawberries—fresh strawberries dipped in rich, creamy chocolate for a delightful treat. Perfect for a sweet snack or elegant dessert, easy to make and irresistibly delicious.

What you'll need:

  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Milk, White or Dark Chocolate
  • Toppings (Chocolate Bars, Sprinkles, Dried Fruit)
  • Whipping Cream

Method:

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Wash the strawberries and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. Ensure they are completely dry before dipping.
  2. Melt Chocolate: Break your chosen chocolate into small pieces and melt in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring occasionally. Alternatively, microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each burst until smooth.
  3. Dip Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted dark chocolate, letting the excess chocolate drip off.
  4. Decorate Strawberries: Crush up your favourite toppings like Crunchie, Malteser and Smarties using a rolling pin if necessary and pour into ramekin bowls. After dipping the strawberries in chocolate, dip them into the toppings.
  5. Chill Strawberries: Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate the chocolate-coated strawberries for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate sets.
  6. Make Whipped Cream: While the strawberries chill, pour the heavy cream into a bowl. Whip using an electric mixer or a whisk until the cream forms soft peaks.
  7. Serve: Place the chilled chocolate-coated strawberries on a serving dish and serve with a generous dollop of whipped cream.Â
