Try our Corn Ribs—tender, flavourful corn cobs cut into 'ribs,' seasoned, and roasted to perfection. This unique twist on classic corn is a fun, delicious side dish that's easy to prepare and perfect for any meal or gathering.Â
What you'll need:
-
Corn on the cub
-
Cajun, or BBQ – pick your own seasoning
-
Olive oil
-
Butter
-
Garlic
-
Optional: Mayo and chilli sauce
Method:
- Season the corn – Toss the corn ribs with oil. Sprinkle the seasoning as you toss. This helps coat the corn more evenly.
- Garlic butter – Melt the butter in a small skillet or saucepan then add the crushed garlic clove and stir for just 20 seconds.
- Cook corn – BBQ, Fry or Airfry. Then cook the corn kernels side down for 6 to 8 minutes or until it has black spots. Watch the corn curl into “ribs”!
- Butter it! Place the cooked corn back in the bowl, pour over the garlic butter and toss using a rubber spatula
- Serve with a dip – we love a chilli mayo!
