Love Me Alfredo
Our creamy Alfredo meal is quick, easy, and irresistibly delicious—perfect for creating a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at home.
What you'll need:
- Enjoy Local Whole Fresh Chicken 1.6Kg (breast meat)
- Napolina Spaghetti
- Enjoy Local Double Cream
- Castelli Dry Grated Cheese
- Lurpak Garlic Butter
- SPAR Garlic Baguettes
- Salt & black pepper
Method:
- Preheat oven to 190°C (170°C fan). Rub the chicken generously with salt, pepper and a knob of Lurpak Garlic Butter. Place in a roasting tin and cook for 1 hour until golden, crisp-skinned and fully cooked. Rest for 10 minutes, then remove the breast meat and slice into strips. Set aside (the rest of the chicken can be saved for lunches).
- Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Cook the Napolina Spaghetti according to pack instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt a generous knob of Lurpak Garlic Butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced cooked chicken breast and warm through for 2–3 minutes. Pour in the Double Cream and gently simmer for 4–5 minutes.
- Stir in the Castelli Dry Grated Cheese until melted, thick and silky. Season with black pepper.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti through the sauce until fully coated. Bake the SPAR Garlic Baguettes until golden and crisp.
- Serve hot with extra cheese on top and garlic baguette on the side
