Prawn cocktail boats

What you'll need:

For the Marie rose sauce:

  • 200ml Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper

To serve:

  • 3 Little Gem lettuces, leaves separated
  • 300g cooked and peeled prawns 
  • ½ bunch chives , chopped
  • Handful of pomegranate seeds
  • Lemon wedges, to serve


  1. Mix together all the ingredients for the Marie Rose sauce and set aside in the fridge. This can be chilled for up to 24 hrs.
  2. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a plate and add a couple of prawns into each leaf.
  3. Spoon over some Marie Rose sauce, and scatter over a few chives and pomegranate seeds.
  4. To serve, squeeze over a little lemon juice.
