We know the kids have barely got back to school, and now it’s the holidays. So, if you are struggling to find ways to entertain them – why not make our Easter nests recipe together?
What you'll need
- 225g milk chocolate
- 2tbsp golden syrup
- 50g butter
- 75g cornflakes
- 36 mini chocolate eggs
Method
- Line a 12 hole fairy cake tin with paper cases. Extra points if you can find Easter themed ones!
- Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Top tip: Don't let the bowl touch the water or the chocolate might burn.
- Once melted, remove the bowl from the heat and gently stir in the cornflakes until all the cereal is coated in the chocolate mix.
- Divide the mixture between the paper cases. Press 3 mini eggs into the centre of each nest. Chill in the fridge for an hour or until completely set.
