We know the kids have barely got back to school, and now it’s the holidays. So, if you are struggling to find ways to entertain them – why not make our Easter nests recipe together?

What you'll need:

  • 225g milk chocolate
  • 2tbsp golden syrup
  • 50g butter
  • 75g cornflakes
  • 36 mini chocolate eggs

Method:

  1. Line a 12 hole fairy cake tin with paper cases. Extra points if you can find Easter themed ones!
  2. Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Top tip: Don't let the bowl touch the water or the chocolate might burn.
  3. Once melted, remove the bowl from the heat and gently stir in the cornflakes until all the cereal is coated in the chocolate mix.
  4. Divide the mixture between the paper cases. Press 3 mini eggs into the centre of each nest. Chill in the fridge for an hour or until completely set.Â
