
Try this crunchy twist on mac and cheese for a cracking midweek dinner.
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter to the pan. Add the onion and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the flour and coat the onions until it smells nutty. Slowly whisk in the milk and stir until smooth. Add salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes over a medium heat until thickened. Add the cheddar and BBQ sauce. Whisk until melted.
2. Pour cheese mixture over the pasta. Coat evenly.
3. Pour into a baking dish and top pasta with the crisps and Parmesan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
