
• 1 The Greengrocer’s onion, diced
• 2 cloves The Greengrocer’s garlic, crushed
• 20ml white wine vinegar
• 400g butter beans, drained
• 400g cannellini beans, drained
• 4 tbsp smoked paprika
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 500g passata
• 4 slices of your preferred (gluten free) bread, toasted
1. Add a splash of oil to a pan on a medium heat
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft
3. Add the white wine vinegar, the beans, smoked paprika, sugar and season with salt and pepper
4. Pour in the passata and bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes
5. Serve heaped on a toasted bread of your choice. Drizzle a little oil over the beans and dig in!
